Deckible Adds Wishlists to Card Deck App Platform for parity with Audible, Spotify & Amazon
We just added wishlisting to Deckible because consumers have learned to expect them. Platforms like Audible, Spotify & Amazon have taught people to expect to make wish lists.
We got asked by many users to add the feature. And it make sense. So we did.
Here's why
Wishlists on platforms like Audible, Spotify and Amazon are valuable for several reasons:
For Users:
- Saving for later: Wishlists provide a convenient way for users to save items they're interested in buying but aren't ready to purchase immediately. This helps them keep track of potential purchases and compare options easily.
- Sharing and gifting: Wishlists can be shared with friends and family, making gift-giving easier and more thoughtful. Recipients can see exactly what someone wants, reducing the chance of receiving unwanted gifts.
- Price tracking: Platforms can notify users when items on their wishlist go on sale, ensuring they get the best price possible.
- Recommendations: Wishlists provide valuable data for content platforms to personalize recommendations. By understanding what users are interested in, platforms can suggest similar content or products, improving user engagement and satisfaction.
For Platforms:
- Increased sales: Wishlists act as a sales funnel, converting potential customers into actual buyers. Reminding users about their wishlists can trigger purchases, especially when combined with targeted promotions or discounts.
- Market research: Analyzing wishlists provides valuable insights into user preferences and trends. This data can be used to inform product development, content creation, and marketing strategies.
- User engagement: Wishlists encourage users to interact with the platform more frequently. Sharing wishlists and receiving recommendations foster a sense of community and keep users coming back for more.
- Brand loyalty: Wishlists can strengthen brand loyalty by making it easier and more enjoyable for users to find and purchase products they love.
Specific examples:
- Audible: Wishlists help users keep track of audiobooks they want to listen to later, especially during promotional periods. Additionally, Audible can suggest similar audiobooks based on a user's wishlist, enhancing their discovery of new content.
- Amazon: Wishlists facilitate gift-giving, making it easier for friends and family to find the perfect present. Amazon can also combine wishlist data with user browsing history to personalize product recommendations and promotions, leading to increased sales.
- Spotify: Wishlists allow users to build personalized playlists for later listening, saving favorite songs and discovering new artists. Spotify can analyze wishlists to recommend similar music and personalize curated playlists, enhancing user satisfaction.
Overall, wishlists are a valuable tool for both users and content platforms like Spotify, Audible and Amazon. They provide a convenient way for users to manage their desires, while offering platforms valuable data to personalize recommendations, boost sales, and strengthen user engagement.
